Issue With Chest Protection

I had a player in my town that placed a long chest, and he left the town and the chest behind. Now I have this chest sitting in my town taking up space, and I can't remove it because the chest protection is an independent plugin from towny, so it doesn't recognize that I "own" this block. Is there anything I can do to have it removed? Or will I have to refer to an admin?
