Server complaint

I am not sure if it's just my own computer or Minecraft that does this to me, or if it's the server itself, but I am only able to connect to the server about 15-20% of the time I want too. I know it's not my internet because my wi-fi works incredibly fast and reliably all the time. So it's either the server just not accepting me, or my Minecraft is messing up D:. If any one thinks they can help, I'll take any that's offered.

P.S. I need help with this annoyance because I will never be mod if I'm not on the server a lot, plus I like playing on the server and this problem causes me to be bored during a lot of my free time.

The server is down at the moment. Things have been happening.

Has it been down for the past 45 minutes to an hour?
If not then something is wrong

Hiya Kent, As server owner I am always trying to reach 100% uptime. However over the last few days we have suffered a few attacks whilst I was at work. We are banning all involved players and are fixing a few security issues.
